crabswithoutlegs is an R&B jazz fusion group that takes inspiration from acts such as Robert Glasper, D'Angelo, and Kamasi Washington. The project is created by Carter Griffin who is the producer and bassist for the group. The band also consists of vocalist/lyricist Elanor Dakota, pianist Drew Powell, drummer Nate Asamoah, percussionist Spencer Morelock, guitarist Patrick Richard, saxophonist Phoenix Speck, trumpeter Ivan Murray, and trombonist Parker Louis.
