John Dubuc's Guilty Pleasures

Rock n Roll

John Dubuc’s Guilty Pleasures draw on the best elements of pop, punk, folk and country to create a sound that is uniquely Midwestern and entirely their own. Their songs feature stark melodies over simple, yet deceptively clever chord changes, creating the perfect backdrop for Dubuc’s thoughtful lyrics that are at once sad, poignant, and funny. Tight vocal harmonies are another element that really set these guys apart from other local acts. JDGP are experienced veterans of the Dayton music scene. Alongside front man John Dubuc, the band features Dan Stahl (Shrug) on drums, Phil Caviness (The Boxcar Suite) on bass, and Kent Montgomery (The New Old Fashioned) on lead guitar.
