The Nautical Theme is a harmony driven, modern folk duo, featuring the ebb and flow of male/female vocals and honest, straightforward songwriting ringing off ivory keys and steel strings. Forming in 2017, Matt Shetler (vocals, guitar) and Tesia Mallory (vocals, keys) have released two albums: Float (2018); Lows+Highs (2020); an EP: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed (2021); and have releases scheduled for 2023 and 2024. 

Compared to the likes of The Civil Wars, Simon and Garfunkel, The Head and the Heart, and The Decemberists, and combining a myriad of influences from punk, folk, classical, and pop, The Nautical Theme is quick to find connection with audiences of all types, but still manages to bring something unique and engaging everywhere they perform.
